Rejected by thousands, accepted by One. Of course it's worthy enough!

Ah, first, I want to thank Tunza Eco-generation, as one of Environmental Networking Platform for Children and Youth by Samsung Engineering and UNEP, that has given me a great Opportunity for being 16th Regional Ambassador of Eco-generation. At last, after being several month as "Freedom-writer", reporting Indonesian Environment condition, discussing about anything necessary, reading world and ambassadors report, and etc.

Imagine, in the morning, you just woke up, you're doing your "Morning" Ritual, check your own ritual to assure is there any chance or opportunity you'll get ...... Beside, you've known that you already being rejected on several opportunity such as SEAMEO Youth Forum, Climate Reality, UNAOC 7th Global Forum, and ..... you didn't go to Harvard Project for Asian and International Relation (HPAIRx) even though it's your own choice huhu. BUT, that's okey! Everything's worth to try lah. So, it's nothing to lose! And when you got something, the Happiness is True! No sleepy, just smiley, and "AH, Thanks GOD! I'll try my best!"

Ah, for the next six month yaps. So, being ambassador isn't about being "The Chosen One", but we need to fulfill our duty, giving one mandatory report from Tunza, and one report from my activities. Everything has been set and planned. Mostly, I will corporate with Kartika Anjarsari, one of Climate Reality Leadership Corps candidate, one of Youth for Climate Change member, and Volunteering on Sekolah Bermain Balon Hijau (SBBH). She's literally activist, right? Haha.

Here's my planned activities:

By March 2016, I will write about Climate Policy class activities. Climate Policy is one of the most favorite subject on Institut Teknologi Bandung. Every semester, the students would be seperated for 10-16 groups and every group would be given an assignment such as Campaigning about Green Energy, Waste, Forestry, etc, Inviting eco-leader speakers, Interviewing environmental NGOs and NPOs based, and etc. Creating the report about it would be great to spread unique activities from multidisciplinary group to mitigate climate change.

By April 2016, I will write about “Climate class session” on elementary schools and “Green Education” on Sekolah Belajar Balon Hijau (SBBH), one of non-profit pre-school, that’s held by Youth for Climate Change (YFCC) Bandung Chapter.

By May 2016, I will write about the result from Focus Group Discussion (FGD) about climate change and its solution that’s held on Meteorology Students Association ITB.

By June 2016, I will write about Disaster Creative Mapping and Education sustainability and its future plans to build Climate Change Resilience for local societies on urban areas.

By July 2016, I will write about “GHG Emissions Reduction Potential on Energy and Transportation Sectors Micro-scale on Bandung City” based on my own research for my Thesis.

By August 2016, I will write about "Climate Change Real-Impacts on Indonesia" based on real-time observation

Beside doing these thing, I've committed my self to help Kartika for doing another eco-project such as: Climate Class for Elementary School, Tumbler and Lunch Boxes Day, Reusable Bags Campaign, and etc.

Ah, for the next six month, it would be Busy day though. Many things should be done beside working with my Thesis.

Anyway, here's my final words for all of the Readers,
"You don't need to take Social Majors for talking about societies, you don't need to take Environmental Engineering to be environmentalist, you don't need to study Disaster Risk Reduction for decreasing your societies vulnerability, as long as you passionate with it, you want to give your time and thought, genuinely work with it, then you're worth enough to take those Responsibilities!" - Rafi, 2016
Thank you for your attention, please check this website each month due to my Report that would be posted on Tunza and this blog! Ganbatte

Sincerely,
Rafi
